Weight & Running

Over the last few months, I've become obsessed with weight instead of fitness. I barely exercised, became paranoid about EVERYTHING I ate, and consequently (and ironically) gained weight. So for the sake of my mental health, I decided that I need to get back to running (amidst the 10,000 other reasons to get back into running) and stop spending so much time and energy worrying about what I'm eating. 

Last week...

Monday: 1 mile
Wednesday: 1 mile
Saturday: 1.5 miles

This week...

Monday: 2 miles

My goal is to be running at least 9-12 miles a week. Once I feel like I'm back into 'reasonable' shape, I'll start looking into races. I'd like to beat my PR at another 5K, and maybe (if I'm feeling brave) attempt a 10K. Or (GASP!) even a half marathon.
